北京迪克森公司系由美国迪克森于2000年设立于北京的分支机构，并落户顺义，奠基建厂。2005年加入意大利FILA集团后一直发展到今天，整整走过了不同凡响10个年头，在全球化日益发展的时代，当全球的视野都定焦在中国的时候，作为拥有二百余年历史的美国最大的文具公司之一的迪克森泰康德儒格公司（DIXON TICONDEROGA COMPANY）于1999年12月抓住历史机遇在中国投资设立了独资企业，也就是今天的北京迪克森文教用品有限公司，于2000年落户顺义奠基建厂，最初只有32名员工的迪克森公司经过十年的不懈努力，快速发展，成就了今天的伟业。目前公司占地面积5万平方米，现有厂房面积35000平方米，厂房16栋，其中生产车间8栋，库房8栋。现有员工近1000人。铅笔板年生产能力达到500万罗、铅笔年产量4.5亿支、水彩2000万支，成为年销售额2亿人民币的稳速发展企业。通州区政府赋予北京迪克森公司“投资通州十大品牌企业”及“2009年纳税大户”的称号。
十年来公司除了在生产上及厂区规划上大踏步的发展，同时非常注重社会责任感，大家可能都知道作为一家主要以铅笔为主要产品的企业，环保问题是个始终萦绕耳边的话题。 随着中国加入世贸组织，中国的经济飞速发展，环保产品的需求不断增加。同时铅笔行业也面临着林业资源日趋紧张的局势。铅笔的主原料为椴木，而椴木属天然林。为了配合国家对天然林的保护，倡导绿色环保、促进林业持续发展的观念。北京迪克森一直致力于寻找替代椴木的材料，经过大量的试验与总结，多次实地考察研究，最终选定了新疆的杨木作为替代树种。
2008年3月，经董事会批准，“新疆迪克林育林公司”于7月正式成立。经过公司20余人的不断努力，现有林地5000亩，杨树27万株。为了提高林地的灌溉率，公司又于2010年开始了开渠引流、架设高压线缆的浩大工程，现已初具规模。所谓“十年树木、百年树人”。通过迪克森人的同心协力，未来,新疆公司将为整个公司提供更多的生产原料并赢得广泛的回报。
作为一个生产型企业，质量控制无疑是头等大事，迪克森在建厂之初便把安全高质生产作为企业重要的管理目标和理念， 经过8年来不懈的努力提高，经过审核机构的严格评估，北京迪克森分别于2008年12月取得了雨林联盟颁发的FSC COC产销监管链证书及2009年1月取得了国际森林认可计划委员会颁发的PEFC证书。同时，为了提高管理的系统性与有效性，公司全体员工共同努力于2009年通过了“中国质量认证中心”的审核并于5月取得了“ISO9001质量管理体系证书”。这标志着迪克森公司已经全面发展成为一家世界领先的环保，高质，安全的一流生产型企业。而这一辉煌成绩的取得当然也离不开所有员工的努力。北京迪克森文教用品有限公司秉承健康环保的宗旨，郑重承诺本公司生产的FSC与PEFC产品完全符合FSC与PEFC的标准要求，并按照产销监管链条款严格执行．
Beijing Dixon Ticonderoga Stationery Co., Ltd. was founded as a subsidiary company in 2000 by Dixon Ticonderoga Company. Beijing Dixon was located in Shunyi District, Beijing. In 2005, the company joined Italy Fila group and changed its English name to Beijing Fila Dixon Stationery Co., Ltd. Now the company is 10 years old. Ten years ago, the tide of globalization had been drawing a lot of attention to China. It provided a historical opportunity to Dixon Ticonderoga Company, a leading stationery company of America with 200 years of history, to make an investment in China to develop its business. In Dec., 1999, the solely investment was made, early in the next year Beijing Dixon Ticonderoga Stationery Co., Ltd. was set up in Shunyi, Beijing. At the very beginning, the company hired 32 employees only. With their great effort, the company had developed rapidly. In 2006, Beijing Fila Dixon was relocated in Tongzhou District, Beijing so as to adapt to the company’s product line broaden strategy. At present, the company occupies land of 50,000 m2 with floorage area of 35,000 m2. There are 16 workshops in Beijing Fila Dixon’s Tongzhou factory which including 8 production workshops and 8 warehouses. Nearly 1,000 employees are working at the company. The current annual output of the company is amazing: 5 million grosses of pencil slats, 450 million pieces of pencils, 20 million pieces of watercolor pen. All these products contribute a sales amount of about RMB200 million per year. The local government awarded the company as “Top Ten Brands Invested in Tongzhou District” and “Major Taxpayers of 2009”.
In the last 10 years, Beijing Fila Dixon paid much effort in production improvement and plant planning, as well as much attention in corporate social responsibility. To a pencil manufacturer like Beijing Fila Dixon, environmental protection issue is considered of highly importance. After China jointed WTO, the economy of the nation has making great progress, meanwhile the demand for environmental protection products is on increase. The raw material for pencil is basswood which is a natural tree species in serious short supply. Beijing Fila Dixon understands the harsh situation of forestry resource definitely hinder the development of pencil industry. Through years of research on basswood substitute material, with repeated experiments and on-site investigations, Beijing Fila Dixon decided to choose Xinjiang poplar as the proper species to replace basswood.
In March of 2008, with the approval of the board of directors, a new company Xinjiang Fila Dixon Forestry Co., Ltd. was founded in July of the year. With the hard working of its 20 staffs, Xinjiang Fila Dixon has planted 270,000 poplars on the field of 5000 mu. To improve the irrigation ratio, Xinjiang Fila Dixon began to dig channels to bring in water and erect high tension lines to transmit power. A proverb says “10 years to grow trees, 100 years to bring up people”. We are confident that with the joint effort of Fila Dixon people, Xinjiang Fila Dixon will bring in abundant wood material as well as good profit for the whole group in the near future.

With eight years of tireless efforts, Beijing Fila Dixon’s received many certificates, such as FSC certificate of COC(Chain of Custody) from RA (Rainforest Alliance) in December 2008, verified certificate from PEFC(The Pan-Euro Forest Certification Council) in January 2009, and ISO9001 quality management system certificate from CQC(China Quality Control Center) in May 2009.
